Seller-side company records
You built the business. Get paid for the record of it.
AI labs pay for real company records: Slack, email, tickets, code, CRM. Founderie works only for the owner. We help you value what you have, make sure clearance and provenance are in place, find the buyers and run the process, and get paid when a license closes.
An Ambaum Labs company
What Founderie does
Every company builds two things: the business, and the record of how the business runs.
Founderie represents the owner. We prove what the records are worth, make sure they are cleared before anyone licenses them, and bring in the right buyers. The people who built the company should be the ones paid for the record of it.
Founderie is a seller-side advisory firm that helps companies license their internal records (Slack, email, tickets, code, CRM) to AI labs for training.
What qualifies
The public web has been crawled. Your records haven't.
Buyers want years of real work, not samples: the requests, the replies, the decisions and how they turned out. It usually lives in systems like these.

Three steps
How it works
-
Value
We grade what you have the way buyers will, before they do.
-
Match buyers
We find the right buyers and run the process. You stay the owner of the records.
-
License
You license, you keep title. We are paid when the license closes, usually by the buyer.
What has to be clear
Nothing is shown to a buyer until it's clean and documented.
PII, secrets, NDAs, platform terms, consent, and a provenance record signed by the owner. It is prepared and documented on your side, by you or your counsel. We make sure it's done before any introduction. Founderie never takes possession of your records.

Why seller-side
Today the market works for buyers. They grade the ore and set the price.
You should have someone on your side of the table. Marketplaces work for both sides. We work for yours.
Who we are
We started on the brand side. We never left.
Founderie comes from Ambaum, a team of former merchants. We ran brands before we built for them. Since 2016, Ambaum has helped hundreds of Shopify brands build, scale and run their businesses.
That work led us into AI, workflows, automation and data, and into the systems where a company's record lives. Founderie keeps us where we started: on the owner's side of the table.

Who it's for
Owners, and the people who act for them.
-
Founders and owners
You built the company and its records. You decide who licenses them, and you are the one paid.
-
Trustees, assignees and bankruptcy counsel
A closed company's records can still be worth something. We help value them and find the buyers once clearance and provenance are in place for the estate.
-
Private equity operating partners
Portfolio companies hold years of working records. We help them license those records without disrupting the business.
Can I sell my company's data to AI companies?
You license it rather than sell it, for a defined use and term, and you keep ownership. Founderie helps you run that process.
How much is my company's data worth to AI companies?
It depends on headcount, years of history, which systems hold it, and how clean it is. Licenses start at $10K to $50K and can reach hundreds of thousands of dollars.
What are AI training environments?
Simulated workplaces built from real records, where AI agents practice real tasks. Buyers increasingly want your tickets, threads and outcomes to build them.
What does it cost?
Usually nothing. We work for you, not the buyers, but the buyer pays our fee when a license closes, the way a landlord pays the tenant's representative in commercial real estate. If you want us to run a full sale for you, any fee from you is agreed in writing before we start.
What kind of data qualifies?
Years of real working records: Slack, email, support tickets, code, CRM, documents.
Is this safe for my customers and staff?
Clearance comes first. PII, secrets and contract limits are handled before any buyer sees anything. Founderie never takes possession of your records.
Is it legal to license employee Slack messages?
It can be, when it's done properly. It depends on your policies, your contracts, the platform's terms and where your staff are. Clearance answers those questions first: personal data is de-identified, consent and platform terms are checked, and every step is documented before any buyer sees anything.
Who buys company data for AI?
AI labs and the data companies that supply them.
Do you take my data?
No. Founderie never takes possession. Each buyer receives records directly from you or your counsel, after de-identification, and only after you sign.
Can I license to more than one buyer?
Usually yes. Most owners license the same records to two or three buyers, each paying separately, and approve every one. Exclusive deals are possible at a premium.
My company already closed. Is it too late?
Often not. Closed companies, estates and assignments are a big part of the market. Records are worth most while the systems are still live, so sooner is better.
What happens to records when a company closes?
They often sit in systems that are still billing, or that will be shut off when licenses lapse and devices are wiped. Once they are gone, so is their value. Before that happens, whoever controls the company or the estate, such as the owners, a trustee or an assignee, may be able to license them, with clearance first.
How long does it take?
Usually 4 to 8 weeks, from the first call to the first wire.
