Our story

How we got here.

  1. Brand first

    We were merchants before we were advisors. Our leadership has run brands as founders, fractional executives and eCommerce directors. We have sat in the owner's seat: making the tough calls, chasing margin, meeting payroll.

  2. Shopify Since 2016

    In 2016 we started Ambaum to be the partner we wished we had when we ran our own brands. Ambaum is a Shopify Premier Partner and has helped hundreds of Shopify brands build, scale and run their businesses.

  3. AI, workflows and automation

    When AI started changing how customers find and buy, we put it to work for brands: agentic commerce readiness, AI search and merchandising, and automations that take routine work off a team. In The Lab at Ambaum we build our own tools too, for outreach and for turning a store's data into its next move.

  4. Data

    That work put us inside the systems where a company's working record lives: email, Slack, tickets, CRM, orders, code. Then AI labs started paying for exactly that record, and we saw who was missing from the table: the owner.

  5. Founderie

    So we built Founderie, on the same side as always. We value the record, make sure clearance and provenance are in place, find the buyers and run the process, and get paid when the owner does.
