Privacy policy

Founderie is operated by Ambaum Labs, LLC (“we”, “us”). This page explains what we collect on founderie.ai, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions go to [email protected].
What we collect
- When you complete the assay: your name, work email, role and company, and the answers you choose to give about your company's records, systems and plans. We also record how you found us: the campaign tags in the link you followed, the site that referred you, and the page you arrived on.
- When you join the buyer list: your name, work email and company, the kinds of records you license and what for, and anything else you choose to tell us.
- While you fill in the assay: your answers are kept in your own browser's local storage, so a refresh doesn't lose them. They stay on your device until you submit, and are cleared from it when you do.
- When you visit founderie.ai: Google Analytics records which pages are visited, roughly from where, on what kind of device, and whether a form was sent (never what was in it). It sets cookies. We don't use advertising trackers. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, processes standard request data such as IP addresses to serve and protect it.
- When you email us: your message and address, in our mailbox.
How we use it
- To reply to you and give you a first view of what your company's records could be worth.
- To send you a copy of your assay slip, and to alert our team that it arrived.
- If you're on the buyer list, to tell you when an archive fits what you license.
- To understand how the site is used and make it better.
- To keep the site working and secure.
Nothing you tell us is shared with any buyer without your written yes. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who sees it
The Founderie team at Ambaum Labs, LLC. We also rely on a few services to run the site: Cloudflare (hosting), Formspree (receiving the forms), Google (Analytics), Resend (sending email) and our own email provider. They process data only to provide those services to us.
How long we keep it
- Assay submissions and buyer-list entries: up to 24 months, or until you ask us to delete them.
- Analytics: no longer than the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, at most 14 months.
Your choices
Email [email protected] to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. You can clear unfinished answers from your device at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, and block analytics cookies in your browser or with Google's opt-out add-on.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
